But when your AdSense account gets suspended, Ads stop displaying on your website for a given period of time thereby reducing your earnings to Zero till the suspension period ends.

So in this post, we will be talking about  AdSense account suspensions due to invalid traffic

The AdSense team have found out that there are 2 types of publishers who may have invalid traffic issues with their accounts; the first ones are those who may unintentionally send invalid traffic to their AdSsense accounts by testing live ads and the second ones are those that do it intentionally in order to illicitly increase their revenue.

There are often many questions on the web about account suspensions so in this post we are going to answer some questions about this situation and what steps one can take in order to help maintain the AdSense account in good state.  On the message below, you will see how the mail comes when your AdSense account is suspended due to invalid traffic concerns.

How to Apply for AdSense for Blogger

What is Invalid Traffic ?

In AdSense, when we say Invalid traffic, it includes any clicks or impressions that may artificially increase an advertiser's costs or publisher's earnings and this invalid traffic implies both intentionally fraudulent traffic as well as accidental or non- intentional clicks.

Click on Googles ads must come from a genuine user interest and any other method that artificially generates clicks or impressions is strongly prohibited by our program policies so if an AdSense account is noted for high levels of invalid traffic, the account may be suspended or or even Disabled in order to protect their advertisers and users.

What is an Account Suspension ?

When your account is suspended due to invalid traffic, ad serving is completely turned off on all your content for a fixed period of most frequently 30 days. And this suspension usually includes any website, YouTube channel, and or mobile app and it should be noted that revenue will be deducted from your account in order to credit advertisers with the with held revenue where necessary and appropriate.

Your account will be automatically re-enabled after the fixed period if and only if there is no further compliance issues with your account.

The difference between an account suspension and an account being Disabled is that when your account is suspended, you will still be able to serve ads after the fixed period of times is over but when your account is Disabled you are no longer able to serve AdSense ads.

What Should I do During the Suspension Period?

There is no other thing you can do during this period aside from continuing to create content on your website while also trying to investigate the sources of the invalid traffic, identify and even block suspicious traffic and also try to look for some measures that will help you maintain a clean traffic.

When Will my Account be re-enabled?

If and only there is no further compliance issues with your account, it will be automatically re-enabled immediately after the fixed period of the suspension which is mostly 30 days.

How can I appeal an Account suspension?

AdSense account suspensions are presently not appealable and the best thing you can do is just to investigate your traffic sources and try to make adjustments that will help you prevent invalid traffic in the future.

What if my account continues to generates invalid traffic even after being re-enabled?

If, after your account is being re-enabled, invalid traffic keeps on showing up and continues to play a role in low value traffic to the AdSense ecosystem, then that AdSense account could be Disabled.
